Fettuccini Alfredo

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Fettuccini or egg noodles
  • 2 tbs Olive oil
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1/2 c. Cream
  • 3/4 c. Grated parmesan
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions

Cook noodles as directed on package. Add olive oil to prevent sticking. Melt butter in large double boiler. Add cream, cheese and beaten egg gradually. Stir until sauce is slightly thickened. Drain and wash noodles. Add to sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve on a warm platter with more Parmesan on the side.

This Is a great side dish for grilled chicken.
